With the surrounding hotels running pretty expensive we took a shot on the Clinton Motel and were very pleased with our decision. At half the rate of the other hotels in the area (with AAA discount)we found the owner very friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and provided everything we needed for our 1 night stay. Free WIFI too. Would definitely suggest to friends.
Nice clean and neat and quiet. Room was a nice size and included a pull out couch. Nice big desk as well as a coffee table. Price was very reasonable!
It didn't seem up to par for a $100+/night cost. We noticed an open door of a place with standard options and there were old rugs and ripped furniture. In it's defense, many other locations are the same if not worse. Me and my wife immediately turned around upon looking around the motel grounds.

Not bad. I reserved a room with a queen bed on travelocity. When I got there they gave is a room with 2 full beds. I said something and they changed us to a room with 2 queen beds, instead. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Most of the stuff in the room didn't really match (like the bed skirt clashed with the quilt) but it gave it a cute retro vibe. The TV remote didn't work well from across the room, but that was minor. There was no hand soap, though. We had to use the bar of body soap to wash our hands. Other than that the only sketchy thing was the ceiling fan in the bathroom was SUPER dusty and looked like it was only half screwed into the ceiling. Overall, though, not bad for the price we paid. We'd stay there again!
